Mission drives us.

The mission of the Dixon foundation is to creatively provide knowledge about wellness and pedagogy to all underprivileged communities around the world in hopes to help them evolve into a human butterfly .

Core Objectives

(What we believe)

Although our children did not choose to be here, they have to learn how to adapt in a world that keeps spinning. Many underprivileged children face early traumatic deficits that causes them to stay in a box or make the wrong choices that can effect their adult life . We want to help them now! We provide inspiration to our community by enlisting people that came from the same background as our underprivileged children.

(What we want to know)

We want to know where our youth are headed. We want to know what’s inside their mind. We also want to know what may be holding them back. Every child is different so we create different activities to engage each child. We give them a chance to be heard by people that they may look up too by providing mentorships, trained therapists, and creative outlets that will teach healthy coping skills.

 (What we want to learn)

What we want to learn from each child is a new perspective. While teaching, we are learning that as humans, even after school, we are every day students. Promoting education, mindfulness, music, sports, and health awareness to develop a brighter perspective for youth to spread their wings.

Butterfly Creatives Camp
